Vita

​

The painter Elis Vermeiren was born in Brazil in 1980 to Belgian parents and grew up near Hamburg.

In 2002, she studied painting at the School of Arts in Ghent, Belgium, under Peter Buggenhout.

From 2003 onwards, she continued her studies in painting/graphic arts at the Academy for Graphics and Book Art in Leipzig, Germany.

In 2009, she graduated with a diploma in painting under Prof. Neo Rauch.

In 2012, she moved with her family to the Ravensburg area.

Since 2023, she has been represented by Galerie 21.06 in Ravensburg and is a member of Gedok Freiburg and BBK/W, Stuttgart.

She is the mother of six children.
